Job summary

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to assist clients with daily living tasks and personal care in home and community settings. Morning shifts and sleepovers are available, with a focus on building independence and well-being across settings.

You will need 2+ years of experience with high intensity behaviours, a NSW driver's licence, and current First Aid. Our team values inclusion, ongoing training, and meaningful daytime work.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with both verbal and non-verbal customers.
• Proficient computer skills for daily documentation and reporting.
• Current NSW NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003.
• Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skills such as cooking, domestic tasks and social activities.
• Provide personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing.
• Mentor customers to explore interests and cultural activities.
• Assist with community participation and recreation programs.
• Administer medication safely and follow individual support plans.
• Complete clear handover notes and incident reports.
• Offer support in home and community settings.
• Utilise diabetes knowledge and PEG feeding skills if required (training ideal).

Location: Woongarrah 2259, Central Coast NSW
Must have a full NSW Drivers Licence and Full Comprehensive Insurance
Personal care is required and you must be confident providing it

What you will be doing
