Job summary

Full Circle Support in NSW seeks a dedicated support worker to assist participants in Supported Independent Living and day programs. You will help with daily routines, personal care, meals, and community activities, aiming to support each person’s goals.

Shifts cover mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers. Applicants should have disability experience, a Certificate III, and be ready to obtain screenings and checks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disability, including personal care.
• Certificate III in Disability/Community Services, or equivalent or willingness to obtain.
• Availability for weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
• A registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job description

This role will mainly involve Supported Independent Living (SIL), with additional shifts available in day programs.

In SIL, you will support participants with daily routines, independent living, personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and community access.

In day programs, you will help participants to access the community, enjoy activities and work towards their individual goals.

Across both settings, you will respect each person's choices and provide support that suits their needs. Shifts include weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
