Job summary

Inclusive Support Service is seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and community. You will engage clients with compassion, assist with daily tasks, and help them achieve meaningful goals in a respectful, empowering manner.

Flexible casual shifts support diverse lifestyles. Candidates should have a Certificate III in Disability or equivalent, a current First Aid/CPR, and a willingness to obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and in the community.
• Support with community access and social participation.
• Assist with personal care including showering, dressing and hygiene.
• Provide domestic assistance such as cleaning, meal preparation and household tasks.
• Encourage independence and help clients achieve their goals.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support to our participants in their homes and within the community. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to build genuine connections while making a positive impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with community access and social participation

• Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing, and hygiene

• Providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, meal preparation, and household tasks

• Encouraging independence and helping clients achieve their individual goals

• Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation

• Working collaboratively with clients, families, and the Inclusive Support Service team

What we\'re looking for:

• A caring, respectful, and positive attitude

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to work a variety of shifts

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience in disability support is desirable but not essential

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver Licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

• National Police Check

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)

• Minimum Certificate 3 in Disability or another related field.
