Job summary

Lifestyle Solutions Disability Support Worker role in Woongarrah (2259) on the Central Coast. Casual morning shifts and sleepovers. Provide personal care, daily living support and community engagement; must have NSW driver licence and full insurance. NDIS screening and First Aid required; experience with high intensity behaviours a must. Training available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with high intensity behaviours with high support needs
• Must have a full NSW Drivers Licence and Full Comprehensive Insurance
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003
• Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily living skills including cooking, domestic tasks and social skills
• Providing personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing
• Mentoring customers to explore interests, hobbies and cultural activities
• Assisting with community participation and recreation programs
• Administering medication safely and following individual support plans
• Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports
• Offering support in the home and the community
• Using diabetes knowledge and PEG feeding skills if required (training ideal)
