Job summary

Talent Quarter is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team and access flexible opportunities with a range of clients and services across Australia.

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll deliver person-centred support to help participants live independently, including personal care, meal prep, medication assistance where needed, and community access. Join a team that values inclusion and quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Disability Support Worker
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
• Practical Medication Administration training (HLTHPS006 or HLTHPS007) – preferred
• Practical Manual Handling training (HLTWHS005) – preferred
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Commitment to safe, respectful and person-centred support
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across client environments

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to help participants live as independently as possible
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks

Talent Quarter is a leading healthcare recruitment agency specialising in Social & Community Care. We partner with disability and community care organisations across Australia to connect them with skilled, reliable and compassionate support workers.
We’re currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing Talent Quarter team and access flexible opportunities with a range of clients and services.
As a Talent Quarter Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support that helps participants live as independently and confidently as possible. Depending on the client and shift, this may include personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, domestic assistance, community access and supporting participants to take part in activities they enjoy.

What you’ll need

• Minimum 12 months’ experience working as a Disability Support Worker
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
• Practical Medication Administration training (HLTHPS006 or HLTHPS007 – preferred)
• Practical Manual Handling training (HLTWHS005 – preferred)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• A genuine commitment to providing safe, respectful and person-centred support
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently across different client environments
