Job summary

Talent Quarter is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Melbourne and surrounds, delivering person-centred care across a range of disability and community settings.

You’ll provide assistance with personal care, meals, medication administration, domestic tasks and community access, with flexible shifts, weekly pay and dedicated consultants to support onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or related qualification.
• Medication administration training HLTHPS006 or HLTHPS007 is required.
• Manual Handling training HLWTHS005 preferred.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Commitment to safe, respectful, person-centred support with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to enable independence across client environments.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks.
• Support medication administration and community access as needed.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy and promote safety and dignity.

What you’ll need

• Practical Medication Administration training ( HLTHPS006 or HLTHPS007is a must)
  
• Practical Manual Handling training ( HLTWHS005– preferred)

• Access to a reliable vehicle

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently across different client environments
