Care Talent is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to clients across Ringwood and the Eastern suburbs. You will assist with daily living, domestic tasks, and community activities, helping clients achieve independence.

You will work in a flexible, roastered environment with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to accurate record-keeping and client progress. Training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Disability Support Worker in Australia.
• Certificate 3 in Disability, Individual Support or another relevant qualification.
• Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check.
• Current Medication Administration and Manual Handling Certificate with at least 6 months' practical experience.
• Current Victorian driver's licence (Learner's permit will not be accepted).
• Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
• Current COVID-19 (2 doses and a booster) and Flu vaccinations.
• Epilepsy Seizure Management - Midazolam Training highly regarded but not mandatory.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to clients across Ringwood and surrounding Eastern suburbs. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of participants and support services, broadening your experience while making a genuine impact every day.
