Here at Talent Quarter, we currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker with 5+ years of experience to join a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team in Castle Hill, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred disability support while taking on additional responsibilities within the wider team. You will play an important role in supporting NDIS participants, contributing to workflows and processes, and working closely with allied health clinicians to implement clinical recommendations into everyday care. The role also offers a clear pathway towards formal supervision and leadership responsibilities, including team mentoring, rostering, and compliance.

The role:

  • Assist with the induction, orientation, and informal mentoring of new support workers as the team expands.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and external stakeholders, communicating progress or changes in participant wellbeing.
  • Maintain immaculate documentation and adhere strictly to NDIS compliance, support strategies, and safeguarding frameworks.
About you:
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or an equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering varied disability support services. Experience in a senior or mentoring capacity, complex care, or PBS strategies is highly regarded.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check (WWCC), and National Police Check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Exceptional documentation, time-management and task prioritisation skills.
  • An interest in progressing towards a formal supervisory role.
