Samaritans in New South Wales invites applications for part-time and casual SIL roles across Jilliby, Morisset, Point Clare and Wyong. You will assist individuals living with disability to reach goals in a strengths-based, person-centred framework, with shifts across a 24/7 roster and both active/non-active options.

We value listening, initiative and empowering participants—supporting daily activities, personal care, and community participation while maintaining safety and wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• Pre-employment medical is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Working with Children Check and First Aid are required.
• A valid driver’s licence is preferred.

What we’re looking for

• You will support household activities, medical and health needs, attending community events/activities, personal care, meal management, transport, communication, and managing emotions and behaviours.

About you:

• Be open to having conversations & be a good listener, without judgement
• Show initiative & think outside the box
• Empower participants you support- 'Do With' not 'Do For'
• Complete a pre-employment medical, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid and have a valid driver’s licence.
• Preferably be able to work a Rotating roster including some weekends and sleep overs/active night & split shifts.
