Job summary

Access Living Care Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate disability support worker to assist an NDIS participant near the Australian National University (ANU) in the ACT. The role involves person-centred support, community access, and promoting independence in a supportive home and community setting.

You will work closely with the participant to follow their support plan, maintain safety, and document shift notes while reporting concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support, including in-home and community-based settings.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Current WWVP registration.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Current National Police Check.

• Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services, or another relevant qualification, is highly regarded
