Qualifications

• Experience in disability support with personal care and community access.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• A valid driver license and reliable vehicle are desirable.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide practical and individualised assistance based on each member’s needs and goals.

Your duties may include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living

• Supporting members in their homes

• Assisting with community access, appointments and social activities

• Encouraging independence, choice and participation

• Providing reliable, respectful and person-centred support

• Completing clear and accurate shift notes and required documentation

• Working collaboratively with members, families and the wider support team

We have a variety of shifts available, including weekdays, weekends, daytime and night shifts.

About You

You are a dependable and caring person who understands that quality support is about more than completing tasks. You take the time to listen, build trust and support each person in the way that works best for them.

You will need:

• Previous experience supporting people with disability, including personal care and community access

• The right to work in Australia

• A current driver licence

• A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

• A current First Aid and CPR certificate

• A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

• A reliable smartphone with internet access

• Availability to work a combination of weekday, weekend, day or night shifts

• Willingness to complete all required onboarding and training
