Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Brisbane East & Inner South team. You’ll provide person-centred care, assist with daily living, transfers and mobility, and support community access for diverse clients across AM, PM and sleepover shifts.

Essential requirements include at least two years’ disability or complex-care experience, Certificate III in ID, Disability or Aged Care, current First Aid/ CPR and NDIS Worker Screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
• Australian work rights

Key Duties

Shift and Availability

AM, PM, active‑night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven‑day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

Indicative Market Pay

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply. Based on live advertised rates reviewed September 2026. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtime.
