Eden Ability is seeking a Disability Support Worker for the Eastern Suburbs, Mascot NSW. Start immediately to join a stable team supporting the same participants at one location.

Role involves assisting with mobility, personal care, medication administration and transport to activities. Requires Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent and willingness to rotate days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Ability to work shift work, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to drive a wheelchair accessible van.
• Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
• National Police Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Infection control certificate
• Own mobile phone

Responsabilités

• Support participants with mobility needs during daily living.
• Meal preparation and meal support.
• Administration of medication.
• Personal care and hoist transfers.
• Transport participants using a wheelchair accessible van.
• Domestic duties in the home and reporting.

Connaissances

Ability to work shift work

Drive wheelchair accessible van

Experience with psychosocial disabled

Own mobile phone

Formation

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

Nursing or allied health qualifications highly regarded
