The Disability Trust in New South Wales is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist clients across Cooma, Bombala, Jindabyne and Berridale. You’ll provide person-centred support in home and community settings, helping participants build independence and participate in activities.

This role requires flexibility for 24/7 rosters including overnight sleepovers, morning/afternoon/evening shifts, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Must-have: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently within a team.
• Desirable: adaptability and initiative in changing environments.
• Awareness of privacy and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily living and personal care support (showering, dressing, mobility).
• Administer medications and assist with lifts/hoists.
• Maintain accurate shift notes and records.
• Support attendance at appointments and community events.
• Help participants achieve goals and stay connected to activities.
