Job summary

Sirv on the Gold Coast is seeking compassionate Disability Support Specialists to join our care team in Nerang. The role focuses on delivering high-quality support, promoting independence, and ensuring dignity for clients living with disabilities.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide emotional support, follow individualized care plans, and maintain accurate records. A relevant qualification and compliance checks are required.

Qualifications

• Manual Handling and PEG feeding training is essential (Mandatory).
• Mental Health Training.
• Knowledge of the NDIS Framework and Practice Standards.
• Understanding of disability rights and advocacy.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support mobility, transportation, and community access.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Develop and follow individualized support and care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Promote independence and community participation.
