Job summary

At C&K Longreach Community Kindergarten, we seek a Director/Teacher to lead a safe, engaging learning space for children and their families. You’ll shape a culture of belonging and growth, drawing on your experience and passion for early childhood education.

You will ensure high-quality outcomes, collaborate with staff, and uphold child safety policies while supporting the local community through school-term rhythms and a holistic development approach.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

As our highly valued Director/Teacher at C&K Longreach Community Kindergarten, you’ll lead a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. • Position starts January 2027
• Permanent Part Time every Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday- 37.5 hours a fortnight

What you’ll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
