Job summary

C&K Association in Queensland's Rockhampton region invites applications for an Assistant Director to join the nGundanoo Community Childcare Centre and help guide early learning.

You’ll float between rooms three days a week and handle office tasks two days, supporting staff, families and children with safety and learning goals.

Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood, First Aid/CPR, Blue Card and Police Check are required; generous hourly pay AUD 42.12–43.50 with super and family-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood qualification required.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification required.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card required.
• Current Police Check required.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.

Responsibilities

• Three days each week floating across rooms to support educators and connect with children.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Assistant Director to work alongside our Centre Director and support the daily running of our centre.

This permanent full-time position offers a balance of hands‑on engagement and leadership responsibilities:

• Three days each week floating across our rooms, supporting educators and connecting with children.
