Job summary

Epsilon Direct Lending Pty, an Australian investment boutique, seeks a Director/Associate Director to lead origination and execution of middle market private credit. Based in Sydney, you will build relationships with sponsors, borrowers and intermediaries, and drive due diligence, credit papers and closing of transactions.

The role emphasizes strong financial analysis, negotiation, and reporting for investors, within a small entrepreneurial team environment.

Qualifications

Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and modeling skills.
Experience in corporate finance, leveraged finance, private credit, or related roles.
Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage borrowers and investors.
High level of organization and ability to manage multiple transactions.
Collaborative mindset and initiative in a small team.
Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/accounting/business; postgraduate qualifications or CFA/CA are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Originate Australian middle market leveraged and acquisition financing opportunities.
Develop relationships with financial sponsors, corporate borrowers, and intermediaries.
Drive transaction and due diligence processes; lead credit papers and investment committee presentations.
Prepare external presentations and negotiate/close transactions.
Engage borrowers and prepare reporting materials for investors and internal stakeholders.
