Qualifications

About us:

Welcome toMount Morgan Multi-Purpose Health Service (MPHS)— a friendly rural health service just 40 km from Rockhampton, wherecommunity, care and connection come together.

Our modern service has20 inpatient beds, emergency resuscitation bays and consultation spaces, providing care for people across the community.

FromAccident & Emergency and acute inpatient caretoaged care, community health and outpatient services, we offer a little bit of everything! We also have a co-located GP service and visiting specialists includingPodiatry, Dietetics, Optometry and Dental— plus more.

About the role:

• Provide strong clinical leadershipacross nursing, medical, allied health, Indigenous health, administration and operational teams, promoting contemporary practice and high-quality patient care.
• Lead day-to-day operationsof the rural Multi-Purpose Health Service, ensuring services are safe, effective, responsive and aligned with best practice.
• Manage people and resourcesthrough effective workforce and financial management, while fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing practice environment.
• Drive quality and safetyby championing continuous improvement, overseeing clinical risk management and ensuring appropriate actions are implemented and risks effectively escalated.

About you:

• Bring your credentials.You'll need currentRegistered Nurse registration with NMBA via AHPRA. Postgraduate qualifications in nursing and/or financial management are highly desirable.
• Bring your clinical expertise.You have strong knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and can apply it confidently within a rural acute healthcare setting.
• Lead with confidence.You bring proven executive-level experience in leading, managing and coordinating health services, with a strong focus on achieving outcomes and maintaining budget integrity.
• Build teams and partnerships.You're an experienced change leader with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, committed to developing high-performing teams, strong partnerships and a safe, inclusive and ethical workplace.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $197,759 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $83.37 - $87.41 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
