Destination NSW is seeking an outstanding leader to deliver and activate major NSW events, including Vivid Sydney and Australia Day. You will lead end-to-end delivery of the owned events portfolio, ensuring safety, efficiency and strong visitor and commercial outcomes within a government context.

You will collaborate across government, industry and partners, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, high-profile experiences that boost NSW as Australia’s premier events destination.

Competenze

• Significant leadership experience delivering large-scale events, festivals, tourism initiatives, or venue operations.
• Accountability for strategy, commercial performance, budgets, governance and risk.
• Experience building operating models and organisational structures to improve delivery outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management across government, industry, sponsors, delivery partners and internal support functions.
• Strong leadership integrating multiple teams and service providers around shared objectives and performance expectations.
