Job summary

University of Adelaide is seeking an Associate Director, Business Development to lead a high‑performing team within the Research Business Development and Alliances unit. You will drive business development, industry engagement and strategic partnerships aligned with the university’s priorities.

The role oversees major proposals, funding opportunities, contract negotiations and partnership development, while providing strategic advice on business planning, financial performance, risk management

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing business development teams.
Experience delivering strategic business development plans.
Experience building relationships with industry, government, and researchers.
Experience in financial analysis, contract management, and risk assessment.
Experience securing major proposals, bids, and research funding alliances.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic business development plans and revenue pipelines.
