Job summary

Galileo Search is seeking a Director of AI Architecture and Platforms in Sydney for a permanent hybrid role. You will own the reference architectures and standards for AI across models, agents, APIs, orchestration, integration and security.

You will lead platform and vendor assessments, align AI, data and cloud platforms, and define the target state for engineering teams. Hands-on experience with Azure AI and Databricks on Azure and AWS is required.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in AI-focused roles in recent years.
• Experience designing Azure-based AI architectures across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own AI reference architectures and standards across models, agents, APIs, orchestration, integration and security.
• Lead platform and vendor assessments (Foundry, AI SaaS, model providers).
• Align AI, data and cloud platforms and set the target state for engineering teams.
