Job summary

Galileo Search is seeking a Lead AI Architect who will own the evolution of our AI architecture across platforms, governance, and production readiness. You will work directly with the executive owner of AI outcomes and sit on the leadership team, blending strategic direction with hands-on delivery.

You will lead a 50+ developer in-source shop, focusing on practical, scalable AI systems, agent orchestration, and observable pipelines. Hybrid role with three days in the Sydney office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with AI production code and recent projects.
• Experience with LLM orchestration and agent frameworks.
• Ability to drive business outcomes and governance in AI.
• Comfortable communicating with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of the AI architecture, platforms, and standards.
• Define how agents connect to production systems and scale.
• Lead governance alongside security leadership and report to an executive sponsor.
• Direct and mentor an in-house engineering team while delivering practical solutions.
