Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect in Melbourne or Sydney to be the trusted ML & AI expert for customers and Field Engineering. You will guide customers in architecting production-grade ML & AI applications on Databricks, aligning technical roadmaps with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will develop GenAI, MLOps, and AI capabilities while mentoring peers. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to represent customer needs, influence priorities,

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on industry ML experience.
Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience with production ML workloads on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Familiarity with GenAI, agentic systems and MLOps is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect production ML/AI workloads on Databricks platform.
Guide customers and Field Engineering to align technical roadmaps.
Mentor teams and share AI expertise across projects.
