Job summary

Altana is seeking an experienced leader to guide the AI Deployment team responsible for bringing agentic AI to production for governments and businesses. You will own delivery outcomes across customer implementations, set roadmaps by value and risk, and ensure measurable success.

You will also set technical bar for agentic deployments, review designs for reliability and cost, and collaborate with Altana's engineering, data science, and product teams to translate field learning into platform

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical delivery.
• 2+ years leading engineers or technical delivery teams.
• Track record of building high-performing technical teams.
• Player-coach mindset: lead the team and still go deep technically.
• Strong communicator and coordinator across multiple teams.
• Product and portfolio instincts for prioritization.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and accountable for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of AI Deployment Engineers.
• Own team capacity and staffing across customer implementations.
• Establish the team’s operating rhythm with planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Build a culture of ownership, technical rigor, and adoption-focused delivery.
• Define success metrics for each engagement and hold the team accountable.
• Step into the hardest implementations when senior technical judgment is needed.
• Coordinate across engineering, data science, product, and customer success.
• Escalate and unblock issues to resolution; feed field learning back to product.
