Vanguard Australia seeks a Director to lead the Investment Stewardship team, guiding governance and proxy voting for APAC portfolio companies. You will shape engagement with boards, advise senior management, and contribute to governance thought leadership in a high-impact role.

You will oversee governance risk assessment, engagement outcomes, and policy positions, working with internal stakeholders to advance Vanguard's stewardship agenda and global programme evolution.

Qualificações

• Experience in investment management or analysis, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Strong governance, stewardship, policy or investor relations background.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills; stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a high-performing Investment Stewardship team.
• Oversee APAC portfolio engagement and proxy voting activities.
• Engage with boards and senior executives on governance matters.
• Provide guidance on stewardship trends, governance risks, and engagement outcomes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on investment stewardship and governance.
