Job summary

Vanguard Australia is seeking a Senior Investment Stewardship Analyst to join the Investment Stewardship team. You will lead company governance research, develop voting recommendations, and engage with portfolio companies on governance matters.

Senior Investment Stewardship Analyst

Vanguard Capital Management Investment Stewardship (VCMIS) is seeking an experienced analyst to join our Investment Stewardship team. This role supports long-term investor value by leading company research and proxy voting and contributing to engagement with portfolio companies on corporate governance matters.

As a Senior Analyst, you will analyse governance risks, develop voting recommendations in line with VCMIS funds' guidelines, and support engagement with company boards and executives. You will work closely with internal partners, mentor junior analysts, and lead initiatives to improve governance outcomes and reduce risk across our funds.

• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Pursuit of advanced degree (CFA or other) preferred.
