Job summary

HSBC Sydney is recruiting a Director for Corporate Banking – International Mid Markets. The role will oversee relationships with internationally focused corporates with turnovers ranging from tens of millions to several billions, including ASX Top 200 and sponsor-backed businesses.

You will originate new business and manage a diverse portfolio across Australian and international markets. In this role you will develop strategies to win referrals, structure credit facilities, and drive sustainable

Qualifications

Significant experience in Corporate Banking with a track record in client management and new business acquisition.
Deep knowledge of the Australian corporate banking space and HSBC network.
Strong knowledge of product solutions including trade and receivables finance and transactional banking.
Ability to manage international clients and sponsor-backed or leveraged companies.

Responsibilities

Develop effective strategies to manage client relationships and identify opportunities for referrals to product partners.
Grow sustainable revenues through targeted acquisition of Corporate Banking clients with international focus.
Structure credit facilities balancing customer and HSBC interests within prudent risk framework.
Maintain up-to-date deal and customer information in Group systems and build an international origination network.
