Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council is seeking a Director - Infrastructure Services to lead a broad infrastructure portfolio with a capital program around $120 million. The role oversees asset management, capital delivery, operations, waste, plant and fleet, and emergency management, directing a team of ~170 staff and reporting to the General Manager.

You will shape governance, safety, change, and community-focused outcomes while delivering the council’s long-term infrastructure vision in Windsor, NSW.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, project management or related discipline.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex statutory or regulated environment.
• Strategic judgement with political and community-facing experience.
• Strong budgeting, cost-control, performance, and contract-management capability.
• Experience leading change and a large multidisciplinary workforce.
• Strong governance, probity, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Commitment to safety, wellbeing, inclusion and respectful leadership.
