Conrad Consulting is recruiting a senior Director in Melbourne to lead data centre and critical infrastructure projects. This commercially focused leadership role combines project oversight, client management and business development.

You should have an established Australian network and a track record of winning work, managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Autonomy over client relationships offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive Australian construction experience (15+ years).
• Strong data centre and critical infrastructure background.
• Experience leading consultancy, developer, or main contractor teams.
• Proven ability to win work and grow client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Developing new client relationships and identifying opportunities within the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors.
• Overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects.
• Providing senior-level project management advice to clients and key stakeholders.
• Managing project teams, consultants and contractors throughout the construction process.
• Taking responsibility for project financial performance, programme management and risk.
• Preparing commercial proposals and negotiating new appointments.
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
• Supporting the recruitment, management and development of technical staff.
• Contributing to business planning and longer-term commercial objectives.
