Mission Critical Recruiting is assisting with a major West Melbourne data centre development. The role requires a seasoned Project Director to lead delivery across nine buildings, setting up the delivery strategy and driving the programme from early stages through to completion.

With a 2.5–3 year horizon, this is a substantial long-term opportunity to own the project, build a capable team and ensure robust controls, client alignment and strong financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Director delivering large-scale multi-building developments.
• Background in data centre or similar critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to set up delivery strategy and project governance.

Responsabilités

• Take full accountability for the nine-building development.
• Establish robust project controls, systems and processes.
• Provide direction across programme, commercial, contractual and operational activities.
• Develop strong working relationships with the client and manage expectations.
• Maintain control of project financials, forecasting and commercial outcomes.
• Lead, mentor and strengthen the project management team.
• Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Identify risks, manage challenges and drive opportunities before they impact delivery.
• Create a culture focused on quality, safety, collaboration and getting the job done right.
