Job summary

National Australia Bank (NAB) is seeking a Director to lead a large, high-performing team across Corporate, Property and Institutional Banking in Queensland. You will influence major lending transactions, shape credit structuring and drive execution for NAB’s largest clients.

Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll manage a 9–10 banker team, collaborate with Coverage, Risk and Product, and deliver sustainable outcomes while maintaining risk discipline and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Corporate, Institutional or Specialised Finance banking environments, with deep credit and transaction execution expertise.
• Proven leadership capability, including leading large teams and developing high-performing banking professionals.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess complex transactions, risks and capital allocation opportunities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence senior leaders, clients and risk partners.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently wearing multiple hats across industry sectors, deal execution, portfolio management and people leadership.
