Job summary

BaptistCare in Tasmania is seeking a Direct Care Coordinator on a 12-month contract for a part-time, hybrid role (4 days a week with 3 days in the office). You will develop, manage and deliver optimised rosters for our frontline staff, acting as the first point of contact for delivery staff and external agencies.

You will provide timely, customised support to aged care customers, balancing service requirements, staff skills and cost efficiency, while growing your rostering expertise in systems

Qualifications

• A positive can-do attitude engaging with customers and staff
• Demonstrated rostering capabilities (aged care advantageous)
• Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Rostering systems Kronos (UKG), Alayacare, HumanForce or other rostering systems
• In Home Rostering knowledge highly regarded
• Knowledge of SCHADS award desirable but not essential

The Role:

Our Direct Care Coordinators develop, manage, and deliver optimised rosters for our workforce:

• First point of contact for Direct Care delivery staff, service brokerage providers and external agencies
• Provide timely and customised support to our aged care customers
• Rostering staff whilst considering customers unique service requirements and staff skills sets, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
