Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Direct Care Coordinator in Tasmania to oversee workforce rostering and delivery of front-line care services. This 12-month, part-time role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 1-2 days remote as appropriate.

You will develop and manage optimised rosters, act as first point of contact for staff and external providers, and ensure service requirements and costs are balanced. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and undergo checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and manage optimised rosters for frontline staff.
• Experience in aged care rostering is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of rostering systems and cost-efficiency considerations.
• Understanding of SCHADS award is desirable.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for Direct Care delivery staff and external agencies.

The Role:

Our Direct Care Coordinators develop, manage, and deliver optimised rosters for our workforce:

• First point of contact for Direct Care delivery staff, service brokerage providers and external agencies
• Provide timely and customised support to our aged care customers
• Rostering staff whilst considering customers unique service requirements and staff skills sets, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness

Skills and Experience:

• A positive can-do attitude with ability to engage with a range of customers and staff
• Demonstrated rostering capabilities (in aged care advantageous)
• Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Rostering systems Kronos (UKG), Alayacare, HumanForce or other rostering systems
  In Home Rostering knowledge highly regarded.
• Knowledge of the SCHADS award - desirable but not essential
