Job summary

Peak Childcare Redbank is seeking a Diploma Qualified Lead Educator to join our professional team of early childhood educators in Ipswich, Queensland. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences, nurture child wellbeing and collaboratively drive program quality.

You will work within a supportive team, maintain strong parent partnerships and contribute to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning to ensure excellent outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently working towards it.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning programs aligned with EYLF, QKLG and NQS.
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through responsive teaching.
• Lead, mentor and collaborate with fellow educators to promote best practice.
• Observe, document and share progress with families in a respectful and professional manner.
• Contribute to quality improvement and compliance with regulations and service policies.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive environment.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our professional team of early childhood educators.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and care, building meaningful relationships with children and families, and contributing to a collaborative team culture. You will bring enthusiasm, creativity and a strong understanding of child development, while supporting children's learning through intentional teaching and play-based experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning programs and experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through responsive and intentional teaching practices.
• Lead, mentor and collaborate with fellow educators to promote best practice in early childhood education and care.
• Build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering a strong sense of belonging and community.
• Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating progress with families in a respectful and professional manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice, critical reflection and quality improvement processes.
• Maintain compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, service policies and procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Actively contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive environment where every child is respected, valued and supported.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards)
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

• Previous experience working across a variety of age groups within an early childhood setting
