Nimbin Early Learning Centre, operated by Northern Rivers Children's Services Ltd, is seeking a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our warm, community-focused team in Nimbin NSW. This permanent part-time role is 32 hours per week across four days, with flexibility in workdays and hours.

The position is based at a small, supportive centre that values relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Formación

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised) required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates required.
• Working with Children Check and Police Check (within 6 months) required.
• Child Protection Certificate and two professional referees required.
• Experience with 0–6 year olds preferred.

About Us

Nimbin Early Learning Centre is a community-based long day care service providing high-quality education and care for children aged 6 months to school age. Since 1999, we have supported local families through a nurturing, child-focused approach and a strong commitment to creating a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our service operates five days per week throughout the year and is proudly managed by Northern Rivers Children's Services (NRCS), a respected not-for-profit organisation that advocates for and supports children, families, and communities across the Northern Rivers region.

With a high educator-to-child ratio and a strong sense of community, we offer an environment where educators are valued, supported, and encouraged to bring their unique skills and creativity to the role.

About the Role

Permanent Part-Time | 32 Hours per Week (4 Days)

We are seeking a Diploma-qualified educator who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences for children.

Some flexibility is available regarding workdays and hours.

Classification: Children's Services Award 2010, Level 5 (Diploma)

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
• Working with Children Check
• Current Police Check (no more than 6 months old)
• Child Protection Certificate
• Two professional referees
• Previous experience working with 0–6 year olds
• A caring, positive, and professional approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Solid knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• A commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality education and care
