Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Transformation Manager Officer to lead governance and oversight of a digital transformation portfolio in Melbourne. You will establish portfolio practices, drive investment governance, and ensure value realization across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, IS, or CS; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in transformation, PMO, program leadership, or large-scale change environments.
• Experience governing enterprise portfolios and investment decision-making processes.
• Strong business case development and funding governance.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and external vendors.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture and technology governance desirable.
• Experience in mining, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, or similarly complex environments helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of the digital transformation portfolio with structured decision-making and delivery frameworks.
• Establish and maintain portfolio management practices, providing visibility over priorities, dependencies, risks, resources, and outcomes.
• Drive business case governance, investment evaluation, and funding prioritization for high-value initiatives.
• Monitor value realization across the transformation portfolio to achieve expected benefits.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide transformation roadmaps balancing delivery capacity and priorities.
• Own vendor and sourcing governance including partner selection, contracting, and buy-versus-build decisions.
• Manage transformation budgets and provide financial transparency around technology investments.
• Lead a high-performing TMO function covering portfolio management, enterprise architecture, and value assurance.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to align strategy and execution.
• Provide executive stakeholders with objective delivery, investment, risk, and progress insights.
