Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs and IT solutions in our Sydney operations. You will drive process improvements, translate requirements into actionable specifications, and collaborate with ERP and analytics teams to deliver value.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in BA roles, strong stakeholder management, and experience with ERP platforms like Pronto, iScala or Epicor, plus SQL and BI tools such as Power BI or Cognos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, CS, Business or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and IT teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Map current and future-state business processes and workflows.
• Translate business capabilities into detailed functional requirements and work with tech teams to implement solutions.
• Support UAT and deployment activities, including change management and training.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance considerations are integrated into projects.
