Job summary

Bendigo Bank is recruiting a senior risk leader to join its newly created Divisional CRO function for the Digital division. The role requires strategic oversight of risk, partnering with the executive team to translate risk strategy into safe, sustainable outcomes and to advance the bank's digital ambitions.

As Head of Line 2 Risk, Digital, you will lead a high-performing team, shape board and executive risk discussion, and oversee risk identification, governance and assurance across the digital

Qualifications

Extensive experience (10+ years) in banking/financial services with risk leadership.
Second-line risk management expertise and commercial mindset.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders including Execs and Board.
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Provide Strategic Risk Leadership to the Digital division's Executive and Leadership Team.
Oversee and govern risks in the Digital Division, aligning with risk appetite and regulations.
Shape Executive & Board dialogue with formal risk commentary and assessments.
Lead and develop a high-performance Line 2 risk team for the Digital division.
