Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Manager-level risk leader to provide independent second-line oversight across the Wealth portfolio within Group Risk. You will operationalise risk strategies, evaluate exposures, and ensure strategic initiatives are executed safely and within Board risk appetite.

Reporting to the CRO, Consumer & Digital, you will lead 2LoA reviews, risk commentary, and dashboards for executive committees and the Board, while guiding risk culture and capability uplift

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in banking, wealth, or financial services.
• Strong risk management capabilities and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Independent 2LoA challenge and oversight of First Line risk controls.
• Executive and governance reporting for risk committees and boards.
• End-to-End assurance and deep dives are conducted per annual plan.
• Risk culture and capability uplift through coaching and stakeholder engagement.
