Job summary

Lives Lived Well is seeking a ConnectWell Peer Worker to deliver digital recovery support drawing on lived experience. The role focuses on engagement, check-ins and practical assistance for individuals in recovery from alcohol and other drugs within a flexible delivery model.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote continuity of care, access to services and recovery goals while maintaining records and contributing to program improvements.

Qualifications

• Lived experience and willingness to use it to support others.
• Commitment to recovery-oriented practice and peer work principles.
• Experience in peer, community services, mental health or AOD settings is valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-focused peer support through ConnectWell's digital platform.
• Share lived experience to promote hope, resilience and recovery.
• Support individuals before, during and after residential rehabilitation.
• Conduct wellbeing and recovery check-ins to strengthen engagement and continuity of care.
• Help people access treatment, recovery, health and community services.
• Encourage maintenance of recovery goals and engagement with networks.
• Assist with re-engagement of disengaged individuals.
• Collaborate with clinicians and program staff for coordinated care.
• Contribute to service improvement and client engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting requirements.
