Job summary

Salt seeks a talented digital designer to own UX/UI and create engaging social content across formats. You will move briefs from concept through launch, collaborating with marketing and creative teams to ensure brand-consistent, high-impact assets.

You’ll design for web, mobile and social, stay ahead of design trends, and use AI tools to accelerate ideation while delivering pixel-perfect work. This onsite Northern Beaches role offers dynamic growth and wellness perks.

Qualifications

• Degree or advanced diploma in graphic design or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Experience designing for social, web, and digital campaigns.
• Strong layout, typography and visual storytelling.

What you'll do

• You're the kind of designer who lives in Figma, dreams in motion graphics, and can whip up scroll-stopping social content as easily as clean UX flows.
• In this hands-on role, you'll take briefs from concept all the way to launch - across paid media, social, EDMs, websites and more.
• You'll partner with marketing, digital and creative teams to ensure every pixel tells a story, engages the audience, and hits those business goals.
• Translate briefs and campaign direction into sharp, on-brand digital assets (static + motion)
• Adapt creative for multiple formats, platforms and retailer specs
• Own UX/UI elements and website design (responsive, user-centric)
• Stay hungry for design trends, platform specs, and visual innovation
• Use AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) to speed ideation and push creative boundaries
• Work fast, with precision - juggle multiple projects, revisions and feedback cycles
• Keep the digital asset library organised, tidy and ready to go

Who you are

• You're bursting with digital design mojo, confident executing from blank canvas to pixel-perfect output.
• You love playing across motion, UX, social, and digital campaigns.
• Details matter.
• Deadlines excite you.
• Degree or advanced diploma in graphic design (or equivalent).
• Adobe Creative Suite ninja (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Skilled in Figma (UX flows, interface design, asset handoff).
• Solid experience designing for social (static + video), banners, EDMs, POS/OOH.
• Comfortable with responsive design and digital layout testing.
• Bonus: experience using AI/assistive design tools to boost creativity and efficiency.
• Great time management, organisation and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communicator - you can explain your ideas clearly and receive feedback like a champ.
