South Gippsland Shire Council invites an organised communications professional to refresh the Council's website and coordinate content development for a new online community portal. In a two-year fixed-term role, you will support cross-departmental delivery and craft user-friendly content for diverse audiences.

You will manage CMS-based content, ensure accessibility and UX alignment, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve digital communications and information access for residents.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in communications or marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and managing website content and using content management systems.
• Well developed written and verbal skills.
• Understanding of website accessibility, user experience and digital communication principles.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate content development across Council projects.
• Support project delivery and planning for the new website.
• Create clear, accessible, user-focused content for digital channels.
• Contribute to digital communication initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
