Job summary

South Gippsland Shire Council is seeking a communications professional to refresh the Council's website on a two-year fixed-term basis. You will coordinate content development, support project delivery, and help plan and implement the new site across Council.

The role focuses on creating clear, accessible, user-friendly content and supporting digital engagement initiatives, with hybrid and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in communications or marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and managing website content and using content management systems.
• Well developed written and verbal skills.
• Understanding of website accessibility, user experience and digital communication principles.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
