Job summary

South Gippsland Shire Council is seeking a Website And Digital Communications Officer to refresh the Council’s website and deliver a community-friendly online information platform. You will coordinate content, support project delivery and contribute to planning and implementing a new digital presence across multiple teams.

You will create clear, accessible content and engage in diverse digital initiatives, combining project coordination with content creation.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in communications or marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and managing website content and using content management systems.
• Well developed written and verbal skills.
• An understanding of website accessibility, user experience and digital communication principles.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate content development and support project delivery.
