Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Project Officer, Digital Communications to join the Charles Perkins Centre in Camperdown. You will help transform the Centre's digital presence with engaging content across social media, web, and video, while uplifting the digital and social media strategy.

Your role focuses on developing content, coordinating website updates, and producing communications for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience producing engaging digital and social media content for diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of digital communications, social media trends and audience engagement strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using content management systems, digital platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging content across digital, social media, website and video channels.
• Support the review and implementation of the Centre's digital and social media strategy.
• Coordinate and maintain website and intranet content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Produce high-quality communications for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms.
• Monitor analytics, audience engagement and content performance to inform continuous improvement.
• Identify emerging trends, technologies and content formats that enhance digital engagement and reach.
