Job summary

The University of Sydney seeks an Executive Director, Digital Sydney, to shape and deliver the University's digital strategy, align transformation across ICT and the broader university, and lead a multi-year portfolio of programs.

You will provide strategic leadership, manage budgets, engage diverse stakeholders, mentor the core team, and ensure technology adoption supports the Sydney 2032 Strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• At least 5 years in executive leadership roles overseeing enterprise portfolios.
• Experience in ICT/Digital Transformation in education sector preferred.
• Strong strategic planning and technology roadmapping experience.
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and implementation of the digital strategy across ICT and the University.
• Direct a complex portfolio of digital transformation programs with prioritisation and resource management.
• Lead and mentor the Digital Sydney Core team and foster collaboration.
• Develop, submit and manage annual budgets and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
