Job summary

Doutta Galla is seeking a creative and digitally savvy Digital Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing team on a part-time basis. Based in Footscray, with a move to West Melbourne, you will plan, create and evaluate engaging digital content across our channels, helping residents, families and staff connect with our purpose and brand.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver SEO and digital campaigns, maintain an annual content calendar and provide data-driven insights

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Digital Marketing, Digital Communications or similar.
• Experience in digital communications, marketing and content coordination.
• Experience updating and optimising websites, SEO/SEM, social media and email marketing platforms.
• Ability to use data and insights to measure performance.
• Understanding of brand consistency, accessibility and plain English.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy Digital Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing team on part-time basis.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the planning, creation, delivery and evaluation of engaging digital communications across our internal and external channels. You will help strengthen our relationships with residents, families, employees, volunteers and stakeholders by delivering content that reflects Doutta Galla's purpose, values and brand.

The role is currently based in Footscray, with an upcoming move to our newly renovated corporate office in West Melbourne, conveniently located within walking distance of North Melbourne Station.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engaging digital content across our website, intranet, social media, email and other digital channels.

• Use data, insights and feedback to identify opportunities to improve content and campaign performance.
• Maintain strong content governance, including approval processes, privacy and records management.
• Keep up to date with digital communication trends and best practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Qualifications in Digital Marketing, Digital Communications or similar.
• Experience in digital communications, marketing, and content coordination.
• Experience updating and optimising websites, SEO, SEM, social media and email marketing platforms.
• The ability to use data and insights to measure communication and digital marketing performance.
• Understanding of brand consistency, accessibility, plain English and digital content best practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Confidence working with stakeholders to gather information, clarify messages and coordinate approvals.
• Experience working in aged care, healthcare or a similar sector will be highly regarded, but not essential.
