Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Digital BIM Lead - Building Services to drive BIM execution planning and digital coordination across Building Services projects.

Based in Australia, you will lead clash detection, uphold BIM standards and ISO19650, mentor project teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants.

A background in mechanical, fire or hydraulic disciplines and advanced Revit skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM coordination and digital delivery in construction or infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; working knowledge of Revizto and Navisworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement; leading multidisciplinary coordination.
• Australian Citizenship preferred; defence clearance highly regarded.
• Background in Building Services with mechanical, fire or hydraulic disciplines highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM execution planning and digital coordination across Building Services projects, embedding consistent standards and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct clash detection and model coordination processes, upholding BIM standards and ISO19650 principles across design and construction phases.
• Guide evaluation and implementation of digital tools and emerging technology, driving improved efficiency and delivery outcomes across the portfolio.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project-based BIM teams, ensuring consistent quality and coordination outcomes regardless of project scale.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants, aligning digital delivery with broader project and client objectives.
• Work across key sectors including Defence, Health, Education, Sport & Culture, Transit and Building projects.
