Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Digital BIM Lead - Building Services to join the National Building Engineering team in Australia. The role supports multiple offices including Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, providing technical leadership across BIM execution and digital delivery.

You will lead multidisciplinary coordination, advance BIM standards, and guide tool selection to improve efficiency and project outcomes. This position offers hybrid work arrangements across major cities and requires strong

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM coordination and digital delivery within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with working knowledge of Revizto and Navisworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary coordination processes.
• Australian Citizenship preferred, with current defence clearance highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM execution planning and digital coordination across Building Services projects, embedding consistent standards and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct clash detection and model coordination processes, upholding BIM standards and ISO19650 principles across design and construction phases.
• Guide evaluation and implementation of digital tools and emerging technology to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project-based BIM teams to ensure consistent quality.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants to align digital delivery with project objectives.
• Work across Defence, Health, Education, Sport & Culture, Transit and Building projects.
